Maladiction Longboarders is a vibrant surfing club comprised of devoted surfers from the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Established in 1997 by a group of local surfers, our club was formed in response to the growing popularity and resurgence of longboarding in Australia and globally. 

We are passionate about surfing, making new friends, having fun, and fostering a strong longboarding community. We strive to encourage young and new surfers whenever possible. 

The club's mission is to promote longboarding on the Mornington Peninsula by organizing competitions and creating a social scene for surfers of all ages and abilities.

Our contests, held at popular spots like Pt. Leo, Shoreham, Flinders, Gunnamatta, or Rye depending on conditions, bring together the longboarding community. We cater to various divisions, including OPEN, WOMENS OVER 40’s, OVER 50’s, OVER 60’S, LOGS, JUNIORS, and RETRO, making it a great event for our local surfing club.

We encourage new members to become part of our longboarding community and welcome surfers of all ages. Our club caters to intermediate surfers all the way through to those with National credentials. Many of our members travel from around the state for our events, and everyone stays connected via the website and our social media accounts.
